2010 has been a great year for me. In fact, I've fulfilled all my 2010 resolutions. and there has been major progressing in that year.

For this year, my resolutions are kept simple and realistic as usual, I continue to wish my family members happy and healthy, I want to save up to Rm20k this year, shape up, join a marathon, stay healthy, and of course, enjoy life.

Just a little update, I'm happy to get a job in sg. I felt really blessed as everything goes as planned. The only regret is that I dont get to spend time with my family. hmmm but i need to do what i have to do. Im still in the adapting and adjusting period. Trying to place everything... in place! Its sad how I dont get to go back during cny this year. Missing reunion dinner for the first time. But its only because most tickets are sold out and they are freaking expensive. Its rationale to not spend 2k just for the 3 days. yes i believe so.

Dont know whats gonna come this year. I'll just go with the flow... peace!

No fear, for whatever thats coming ahead. Keep an open mind and take one step at a time. Live the life i want and dont be blinded by anything thats not worth it. Thats it for now. Whats next for me? I'll leave that to God. cause He always save the best for me.

Silence is gold?

Its interesting to know why they say silence is gold and ignorance is bliss. They may not carry the same meaning but both are telling us to care less and basically to avoid knowing the truth, which are often ugly. And somehow in those words we are discouraged to voice out, or rather, to just mind our own business. I dont know how true is my interpretation, I could be wrong but personally, thats the message I see in those words.

Most people would say speech is silver and silence is gold, simply because silence can keep us more moderate and rational whereas there are a lot of troubles that can arise from any kind of speech, it could be some wrong-saying, misunderstanding, swearing or misleading talk. I have been practising this whole silence is gold thing ever since I could understand what it means and true enough, it did prove to be right cause when you just keep silent to the things that isnt favourable or by just turning a blind eye to it, you are free from any potential problems. Yet, you may not know but you could also be missing the good stuff that you could've earned. So think about it, is silence really gold? Did we forget the part that says speech is anyhow, still silver?

The reason Im writing about this is because I think that not only our society, but the world lacks the intuitive to voice out whatever that is not in the welfare of others. Of course, this does not apply to everyone and Im just talking on a general scale and in my own opinion. What prompts me to write this is actually the recent case of a lady burnt alive in her car following an accident whereby she could've been saved if the nearby bhp workers were not that ignorant, and this tragic incident reminds me of so many other cases of abuse, sodomy and inappropriate treatments that are hidden and not voiced out. Yes, there are communities and special bodies for labour abuse, and there are petitions raised for animal abuse but what I am saying is the everyday people on the streets are the ones that are not doing enough as we are getting more self centered but in fact, these people are the ones that can help the most.

Its only after some time that I realized the phrase silence is gold, if used to a certain extended point, doesnt make it gold anymore. Its meant to apply, probably in our daily minor situations but never to big issues as mentioned. Because when everyone just keep silent and ignore all these issues, the only thing that will happen is bigger issues! So why turn our backs to the people around us that needs help or is deceived, or even our own rights that are taken away from us. Everyone is too busy making sure they dont get into trouble themselves without weighing the weight of either consequences. Some of you may say this is what the society has shaped us into but if you really think twice, maybe there should be some provisions given. Don't forget when one says silence is gold, theres another phrase that says silence kill.

P/S: Sorry if my article bores you but Im trying to write something.... articlish. and remember I got trapped in the toilet earlier because the doorknob was spoiled? Its fixed now but the light is broken so that means Im showering and doing my business in the dark everynight. What did i do? hahaha

Snowflakes....again!

Snowflakes again! for the Nth time. But I thought my blog is desperately in need of something refreshing to refresh it. So here it is, what could be more refreshing than snowflakes, aye?

The lemon citrus. Looks simple but trust me, there's a lot of flavors under that pile of thing.

This is the new guy from japan, soya ice topped with juicy red bean and twingy ocha balls (green tea balls). I didnt know its soya ice until I see the poster later cause it tasted so much like santan. Everyone said its santan! haha.. red bean is sweet and just right. For the ocha balls part, I'll have to let you judge for yourself cause its like chou toufu and natto, ppl who like it will like it, and those who dont, like me, just dont. But its not that bad, definitely worth a try.

And of course, as always, my sea amber jelly cannot be missing. Still the best :D

My blog is getting dull and i havent been updating. I know. But thats only because my days are getting dull and Ive been busy. Busy slacking everyday when I'm really suppose to be studying. For ACCA this june. Btw, Ive graduated from TARC. Four years of ups and downs and a lot of hardship and finally Ive crossed the finish line. Phew!

Ive sold off most of my furnitures and stuff now. Boxes are around the corners. Gonna miss this place. Awesome place with awesome people but not-so-awesome food, and toilet.

Why the toilet? Cause I was trapped in the toilet the other day for an hour plus. The door knob is spoiled and I cannot get out no matter how hard i twist it. I banged on the door but no one was in. Phone was outside and gf was back to her hometown. It was then I realised that i could have got trapped in there for days and died without anyone knowing cause some of my housemates have moved out earlier and my landlady goes on business trips very often. freaks me out. LOL.

It was through this window in the toilet that i got help. Yes, I shouted for help. LOL.. the malay staying upstair was evil enough to shut the window when i asked for his help. Fuck. And then came my angelic neighbour who helped me to call my landlady, who is kind enough to rush down from PJ just to save me. haha. Thanks. I owe that neighbour a meal. still owing..hahah!

Ok enough with the story. Its funny I know. Go ahead and laugh your heads off.

I was having dinner with my gal the other day at the normal hawker cafe and we wanted to order some drinks. We wanted to order liong soi (herbal tea), one of the most common drinks around KL hawkers. So, the hawker guy came.

Hawker guy: Yam meh? (drink what)

My Gal (ST) : Liong soi (one herbal tea)

HG : Xuet? ( means Iced?) *Liong soi xuet being iced herbal tea

ST: Bullshit

HG: *WTF expression*

Me: *shocked and wtf expression too*

ST : Bullshit ( she repeats...)

Then I realised she's trying to say pun xuet (half iced)... LOLLLLLLL...

So we had liong soi bullshit that night.

People say life is not something that you can expect. Always out of your expectation and of course, not everything will go smoothly according to your plan. and every time I hear that, I nod in agreement. But then when you get to experience it yourself, and when you have your own insight and understanding of what that statement really means, its a whole new level of agreement. As if its written just for you.

I was at the tip of a cliff, a borderline that separates hell and the status quo. It was disturbing and frightening. A young lad with so much life ahead could just have everything ended right there. Traumatic. Yet thanks to Jesus Christ i am a lucky one. I could only imagine how would i handle whatever that might happen, or rather, facing the worst case scenario.

A friend once said (on twitter), one day your whole life will flash in front of you, make sure its worth watching. I couldnt agree more, but hey, you know what, I'd really hope that its long enough to watch. Like a 2 hour movie, not a 30min sitcom. you know what i mean? and everything else doesnt matter anymore, you are back to basics. You know who and what are really truly important to you. You have your priorities right, cause you are naked clear, not blinded by anything. and you have no fear for anything anymore, cause you already have nothing to lose. When the trashcan is full, get the trash.

I dont know, but one thing im sure is, it will definitely not be the same again. My attitude towards life, and how everyone should just appreciate every little thing and people and stuff you have. When everything you see is in black and white, trust me, you will be dying to see some colors. Life is fragile, appreciate it.

and im really trying to make my black and white plates and trashcan pics look artistic. Its hard! Btw, I hope there will be no questions asked. Im sharing my little insight here, i hope you can get something out of it. something good :)

Ferrero again, but this time, its Ferrero Garden -coconut!

Every choc is coated with finely shredded dried coconut. topped with a little caramel

and when you bite into it, its white choc cream inside with a crunchy nut, but somewhat made me think of macadamia. Gotta be either the cream or the nut. thumbs up!

and ferrero garden has a series of flavors too. pistachio, strawberry etc. Getting creative!

Spent the noon in wangsa walk mall.... it was supposed to be just a lunch break.

And there I saw this machine.

Its a weight n height measurement machine, but this one also measures ur blood pressure and body fat percentage. I realized Machines like this is starting to appear in many places, jusco n carrefour etc etc. Health conscious eh?

this is the thing where u r suppose to put ur arms in and have ur blood pressure measured. I've always had high blood pressure since i was a teen. and guess whats my reading this time.

This is me. Blood pressure still high but better than last time.. and im still in the ideal range for BMI, weight,body fat etc. still ok lah, but better if i can toned up! heh heh heh. Gotta get back to fitness plan since its after exam alr.

and i definitely need to realx n enjoy more to lower my blood pressure. LOL..

oh yeah, TGV cinema is now open at wangsa walk mall too..

not very grand but waddoya expect.

apparently revision class is cancelled after lunch break so we end up watching a nooby movie there. That also means we just went for 5 minutes of revision class cause we went college late and had an early break. HMM...might as well sleep in more.

Graduation Trip!

G4 Graduation Trip - Langkaweee! Its sun, fun, booze and a bunch of friends! woohoo!

some of us have been together since the first day of diploma until the last day in adv diploma. 4 years in Group 4. Some left halfway and some new faces joined halfway. All of all we made group 4 what group 4 is today. and this entry is dedicated to all of u. group4-ians!

Looking back to the days in college, it was really an adventure. I used to call tarc my new chapter of life after secondary school. Travelling so far from sarawak to study here has got to mean something. I can still remember the first day of class right after orientation when i daringly asked xuan and marcus if they were siblings (they're couple since then) and in return, they asked if im a kadazan cause im from sarawak. LOL. and now we're beyond the last day of class alr. how time flies and this chapter i used to call 'new' has alr ended. The days and years marched by too fast and many things have to come to an end.

Despite all, its the people that came into our lives. and the fun we had together. people we share our days with, people we hang out with, people we study with. We had some good times and maybe some not-very-good times and after 4 years of education together, we divided ourselves into mcb n ggj team. Yeah, thats what we did after 4 years of college. hahahaha...

Nevertheless. lets celebrate and jump for friendships built!

Not too long away we will be heading to different directions. and God knows when we will meet again. Its sad how we always have to say goodbye at some point.

and i hereby sincerely wish everyone in group 4 the best of luck in ur future undertakings, whatever it is. of course to all other friends not in group 4 too. This is not goodbye.

Thanks for being so much in so many things and leaving your footprints in my college life. and now its time for another new chapter in life. College years might fade into background but it will always be deeply engraved in my heart. Mushy enough? hehe..

I was at langkawi for the past few days! It was an awesome trip, sun, fun, booze and friends. Imagine that combination tgr. gotta be good eh?

One funny thing is that i brought my camera along and apparently ive taken ZERO picture. ask me why and I'll probably say i just wanna have fun without having to take care of my camera, or im just too lazy.. or my shorts has pockets not big enough. So all the pics that im gonna post in my blog on langkawi are from my friends who go chichak chi chak and chake chake (various camera shutter sound) all day long. Thanks yo frens.

I have too many pics to select from and its gonna be a long blog post for the graduation trip so for now, im just gonna give a sneak peak, or should i say, a shorter post, about this very nice food hut serving italian food. Bloody Hot!

The weather has been bloody hot!!! all over Msia. Must be global warming. and my room is stuffy cause all i have is a pathetic stand fan haha.. Still, I've got studies to do.

Am having final exam. final of the final! Like a finale. huhu

And i have fever too. So one night after popping 2 panadols, I decided to close the windows, switch off the fan and sleep in a jacket. haha.. the idea is to make myself sweat and cure myself.

But Its so freaking hot and humid i woke up at 3am and i have all these red rashes all over my body. For a sec i thought i may have some kind of new deadly disease and am going to die. lol

But then its just the heat in my body trying to get out la. and im also wet cz i sweat like mad. My hair is so wet i can style with it! hahahahaha

lol.

Neways, Ive been drinking a lot of rhino cooling water lah. just to get the heat off. and i ran out of panadol alr. hmm.. bloody weather!

wish me luck in exam, and all who are having exam too! Adios!

Its snowflakes again. cause of the recent hot weather!

but then it was raining that day. hah...

This time round its my fav sea amber jelly. Gonna show u how i like my SAJ done ;]

you see, SAJ is a big scoop of flavored ice covered in jelly and some pearls toppings.
So its crunchy and cold lo.. not the best way to savour it.

HOB - House Of Buffet

Wanted to go to a buffet nearby since we're at pwtc so we decided to go to
HOB House of Buffet, which was where yaki yaki was previously located.

Apparently HOB is on April promotion, which offers really affordable price. and of course when the the price plunges so much, the ingredients and variety of food differs as well.

used to have prawn tempura in this bar lo!

Its the first time i walk few rounds in a buffet and still have my plate empty. haha.
but then its april promotion. so yeah..

and the new zealand natural ice cream fridge is sealed. and i thought HOB is serving BR.
still they have some normal ice cream. ..promotion bah.

still.. we have our fair share of food, eheh

some taste pretty good but i wouldnt go to that place again. Its not that bad, just that I would rather pay more for better food.

Can you handle it? Life in general.

I think of stuff like that from time to time. Cause I know its not an easy job. You have academics, friendships, relationships, dreams that you wanna make it come true, yet responsibilities that you shouldnt avoid. Your health is uncontrollable. at least not entirely. Or you have family to support. You wanna excel in one thing, but yet not do it at the expense of other areas in life. You wanna be good in all. but is that possible. Probably, but very difficult. and sometimes when you think you have the determination, you may not have the mental strength when one or two things went out of track for a little while. Im talking about your attitude in life, how do u handle stuff, how do u make right choices, and how do u make the things that you want happen, and how can u be sure thats truly the things you wanted, and not others things which u might have overlooked at this moment. Thats probably what is meant by the twists and turns in life. and the best part is, everything is unpredictable. Many times, we find fear standing in our way. we may be too afraid to do something or to let ourselves to be in a vulnerable position, just because we are afraid of losing it once you've got it, or the possible pain or grief or misery that we might have to go through. You dont know when to open up, and whether if you should ever open up. Some people decided that its most realistic to just be slave of careers and cash. But they'll never know how much that they have missed out.

So, can you handle life in general? I know im trying to. and i wish i can do well.

p/s: Btw i got a great news today. got to know that ive scored 2nd highest in acca p3 paper this round with 79 marks.. 2nd highest in tarc and that would be first in sunway college. am giving a testimonial to juniors. Not showing off kay, just jotting down this little achievement in my blog.

You know how people are obsessed at staring at one particular thing regardless if its attractive or grotesque. Like a neatly lined up row of cockroach eggs. or a few rows of neatly lined pimples. Dont get me wrong. Im not obsessed with staring at those things but you get the idea. There are always something that one can find it amusing and cant help sticking their eyes on it..

and i beh tahan already. Im not sure why but i just cant help looking at these!

Sis intro me to this nose sticker thing last month when she's here in kl and i tried it on. and this is is what i saw when i pulled it off. Have a closer look.

cant believe my nose is so dirty. geli yet i cant help but to stare at it for 3 minutes. whats wrong with me???? haha. Look at how concentrated they are; and somehow neatly spread. geezzzz.....

It's Your Birthday!!!

Happy birthday to the lady i love the most! There are so many sayings on how great and mighty a mother's love is. and yes indeed they are all true. Today is mum's birthday and i just wanna say i love u mum. and you look amazingly young at your age! as always. hehe

Cant express myself in words on how grateful i am to have such wonderful parents. You guys have given me family love which is some of the most precious things ever. Very good support system...and finance system..(dad).. haha. Im very blessed! and I appreciate every bit of it.

Have a safe flight home tmr mum, just in time to celebrate your birthday! wish i could be there.

G4 Luncheon - Tony Roma's

Hey! we had a little class gathering over last weekend at Tony Roma's pavilion. Not all turned up, but most of us did, even some classmates from diploma... We had lunch instead of dinner just so we'll have more time to do other things afterward.

Thanks MH for organizing this, it was great but the tiger show never came. and the maojing dress code. We'll just have to anticipate all those during our graduation trip.

Talking about graduation trip, Im organising it and so far we have 16 confirmed. Booked air tickets so we are just waiting to fly. Of course, exams in between. We're heading to langkawi btw. The last time i was there I fell into the sea, gt bruised and have my hp spoiled. This time round, nothing of that sort will happen, I hope.

Btw remember my lovely neighbour is having a renovation just down one floor? and all the drillings makes me cant stay in. Now i have to go the library just to study.

and Im constantly amazed by the amount of time i can waste not studying even when im in front of the book in a library. with no distractions. I would rather just stare blank! haha it all comes down to the mood. when u got the mood, u got it going!

and yeah, when i smile my eyes are gone.

I dont know why I tend to write stuff that are totally unrelated to the pictures. But i do that. maybe its kinda clever cause i can blog about many stuff in just one entry. Ya know, like the pictures can already tell their own stories and the wordings can say different stuff. Kinda contradicting I hope u dont find it annoying or stupid.

April's Fool from God

Its only 2.30pm and today has been so bad that i just have to blog it down!

You see, Ive been staying in this condo for at least a year now and there is this another condo next to it which is still under work-in-progress. This means hammering, drilling and all the possible noise and air pollution that you could think of from a construction site. And i've been able to put up with all of those for at least a year through exams, holidays, supposed-nap-noons.. until the new sparkling condo is completely done now.

Today is one of the very rare days where I have the mood to really study because final exam is in 2 weeks time. So I was reading my thick ACCA managegment book when I heard this noisy drilling sound from upstair. It happened yesterday but only for awhile so i thought they are having a small construction or something. But then the annoying drill is so louder until i wasnt able to do anything anymore. I definitely couldnt read. so i went to watch something on pps. but the drill is so fucking loud that all i can hear is the drr drrrrr drrrrr drrrr drrrrr drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrilllllll!!

Great. So i decided to go upstair to see whats going on. Apparently i later found out the massive construction is from my unit downstair. just one floor down. By now they alr have at least two drills going on. fucking noisy it felt like an earthquake. no joke.

I called the management and they were having their lunch. Ughh, cant really do anything cause there is no point talking to the construction workers also..

the drilling lasted for an hour untill i beh tahan and decided to go to college library cause i really shouldnt waste anymore time not studying now. So i went through all the trouble to bath and pack my laptop and bag and went down to the lobby , trying to grab a cab. and guess what happened?

It started raining. Heavily.

How lovely is that.

So there i was. standing in front of the guard house. for a few minutes at least. cause I dint know where to go. I cant go back to my house because there's an earthquake. and I cant grab a cab now cz its raining so heavily.

Then i decided to go back home to grab my umbrella. Just when i reached home, i was too lazy to go to the library already cause the rain is so heavy. and the drilling has stopped now. I switched on my laptop on the couch. wanting to blog about how bad it has been. but my laptop lags, and the drilling restarts. haha..

so i immediately took the umbrella and went down to grab a cab. Lucky me there's a cab passing by and i had to run in the rain to stop it. got in the cab and am pretty happy cause afterall i thought i managed to escape from the very irritating drilling noise. and guess wad.

I forgot to bring my wallet!!! omfg

So i asked the cab driver to drive me back cause we're not too far from my condo yet. He said he can wait for me so i went up to grab my wallet while he waits downstair. By now the rain is mad heavy and im all wet alr. so i decided i should just stay at home. went down and ask him to leave.

So i took bath again. and blog about this. listening to the drillings.

Geez, and i thought storyline like this only appears in some primary school essays.

and its not even april's fool yet!

anyway, a lil update, we just completed our final presentation in TARC!

and had a class lunch and gathering with ex classmates from diploma as well over the weekend!

Next up shall be exams. and graduation trip!

Came across this encyclopedia while i was browsing through amazon.com. (Yes, i was really bored then). It was THE new encyclopedia of dog by Bruce Fogle.

and guess what. I have one on my bookshelf! I almost forgot.

Im a dog person since young and this is only one of the encyclopedia collection i brought along from kch to kl . I dont need it in kl but i just want it to be by my side.

Go ahead. Go laugh at me.

Like all other encyclopedias, it introduces every breeds of dogs in every group. temperament, breed standard, history, size, trainability etc etc. Most of which i can remember alr! You see sometimes i really think i should become a dog behaviorist or some sort. Not praising myself kay but its a result of my DEEEEP interest in dogs. .. since young. must emphasize since young. lol

since encyclopedia costs a bomb and i cant afford them now while studying. I managed to add some magazines. But they're in chinese so its hard to read. A Pharaoh Hound or a Bedlington Terrier, when translated into mandarin, may turn out to be some very weird names.

Maybe say, A Bedlington Terrier will become 布得灵登梗

which I don understand.

But still, at least the magazines are full of pics la. so not bad also.

Bumped into one of my old blogs through a friend's link. Almost forgot I used to have a vox.com! Its www.jialun.vox.com and there are only 3 entries with the 3rd one saying I've moved! The downside of vox.com is that it only allows users of vox to communicate with each other; and not many malaysians, or should i say, my fellow blogger friends are a fan of vox. Thats why at the end of the day, I returned to blogspot.

I desperately need a haircut as it looks like some kinda mushroom now.

And everyone who sees me will either say, 'Uve grown meat" or.. "U've grown......bigger now"and Molly asked jokingly if I've been drinking oil back in kch. LOL...In short, Ive become F-A-T-T-E-R!

Its call cause Im well fed and Mum's being a goodmum and a fabulous cook, and plenty of cakes and junk food. Delicious! Its all worth it but Ive got to do something now otherwise I'll end up fat and miserable with a mushroom head. :S

Happy Chinese New Year to all, better late than never eh.

Been enjoying myself in home sweet home, gaining angpao and weight. Im well fed! and lazy, that explains why i havent blog in so long. Like what they say, all happy things end fast. and my break is officially over. Catching a flight back to KL tmr noon. Gotta pull myself back to reality! hehe. ACCA result is out soon, surprisingly i dont really care anymore cause I know my P2 is a sure fail. My first fail in my entire life so far. great. Learnt how to cook pumpkin from mum in less than a minute. Orally. 3 easy steps if u r interested. Oil, onions, pumpkin and stir fry it. Chatted with kuog in msn and i told him ive to come up with a weight loss plan once i got back to kl. Gotta lose some fat and buff up. So I'll start tmr and see if results are good in a month. So thats what I'll be doing besides assignments, lectures, dating, facebooking, ppsing , mamaking exactra exactera; long for etc etc. But first, I gotta pack now. So Adios!

Suddenly have the urge to have watermelon ice cream the other day when i was still in kl so that was the very first few things i told my mum once i got back home. and she made my dream come true today. haha

Glad im back in time to physically celebrate with him. Mum's falls in April and i wont be in kch that time :( ..but she knows i love her as much. hehe

Went to Mr Ho's Fine Food, well known for its apple sauced layered pork so I heard..

Made gift vouchers to dad the night before with sis to invite him for this dinner, and for him to claim his gift...and a movie! But MBO broke down so no movie for the night. Hehe

Lets just move on to the fine food aye.

first up is this creamy mussel. Surprisingly yummy as im not a big fan of mussels. very nice!!

Celebrated carine and jess's birthday at Fullhouse@Jln Yap Kwan Seng. Lunch.

The place is nice like all other fullhouse outlets. The only thing is that its very humid and hot inside, and its full of flies. So I call it FullFlies. And despite telling them my name is LUCAS with an S when i called to reserve a day earlier, and despite them keep asking if my name is LUCAL, LUCAN or LUCPN like they don understand what is a fucking S, at last they managed to Spell my name as 'LUTCAS" on the pretty table. I wanna Lut them. But at least they got the S right.

There arent many choices of food there but no complaint cause the restaurant is special for its deco and the homey garden concept. With the gals and deco, i became the photographer of a lot of photos, cause the supposed photographer din turn up! hehe

I hate to complain but one thing that i really cannot stand is bad service. and fullhouse @ yap kwan seng has the worst service ive ever experienced. They fucking pissed me off even untill now. I don wanna talk about how some of the staff there look like some stupid malay gangster with the typical cibai face expression from the start we walked into that place. Its as though we've barged into her mothafucking granny house and have her granny cook for us. So its an important celebration to us and we try not to be affected by the cibai face. And guess what, after we've finished our meals and was taking pictures around, the mothafucking asshole waitress come up to us and ask us to settle our bill and take our bags away because they have to set the tables for some annual dinner later. What the fuck do they think they are doing. I fucking reserved the table and you cannot fucking ask us to leave. Even if i dint reserve it, u r never in the position to ask us to leave, even ur boss cannot do that because we are the customers and we can stay for as fucking long as i fucking want and you do not simply fucking come to us when we are having a good time and fucking say those words to us. And if u have to set the tables earlier, fucking tell me when i reserve, or arrange tables in the front section at the first place. don fucking expect us to leave as you want to. we were only there for 1 hour so fuck u. In short, you fucking ruined this important bday. and you should go fuck urself.

Of course we dint listen to her because she is being such a retard as usual. so she gt pissed off and her already cb face turned into the cibaiest face ever. Mind you we haven even cut the cake and you already want us to leave. So we asked for our cake to be served and her fucking hands are alr on her very thick waist its like she'll charge us like a fucking bull in no time. fucking idiotic. that kinda of attitude is enough for me to smack her with the chair!. I was this close. serious. Its only that i dont wanna ruin the whole thing. so we sang our bdays songs happily and i couldnt help to notice her face was like laughing at us, cz she fucking walked pass so i have to see her cb face. almost puke. Whats the point of having a perfect table setting when ur sevice sucks cock. Think of that!

I really don understand why fullhouse would hire such employees. their service at other outlets are good and only this outlet has bad service which ive heard from people before. Yet we go there because its convenient for all of us and we dint expect it would be this bad. what a shame.

Ive been busy.

with classes and stuff. Its the final sem so its double workload... tutorials are boring as usual. and my classes are from 8-6. not everyday but yeah. unbearable enough.

You know how they say bad stuff about 9-5 job. well whats worse than a 9-5 job is definitely 8-6 classes!

its 9.08am and im on the couch writing my blog while watching the breakfast show on ntv7. Haven seen williiam quah on tv for quite a while. The last time i saw him was in klcc cinema i guess. Hah! one of my very few encounters in meeting celebs!

I tried to not bore you by blogging about my college work but i cant help it. haha. its only week 3 and we're getting busy like mad. with lectures, tutorials. and assignments are starting to flow in already. These asses are then followed by exams. and cny! finally something good. :)

Gotta present a proper business proposal and investment appraisal with my team. How great is that. Kinda give you the taste and essence of what its like to work , say, in an investment/consultant company perhaps? Im not being sarcastic. Its really great. I mean it. :/

Just few hours back i was struck with the dilemma to choose between sheffield and birmingham and looks like ive made my decision after weighing them both and consulting some good people. As much as Masters sound better than a degree, its just not the right time and right place yet. You know how many other small and big factors come in and you have to consider them all equally to finally come up with your decision. Good thing is that most of the time i dont regret on the things ive decided to do. Thanks to Dr. Amy and Mr. Tan for guidance!

Housemates woke up goin out to work already! They're getting married later this year. Congratz to them. The girl has been very excited about wedding ring, weeding gown, restaurant, wedding tour, deco and stuff. Haha. good for them. And that also means they're moving out soon. which means i may take their room. which ive always aimed for. LOL. so good for me. But I maybe too lazy to move my stuff too. We'll seee...

Have you ever wonder? why is it that the California Roll, which is a japanese food, named after another country. Wouldnt it make better sense if its called japan roll instead?

And Im been browsing Youtube whole night on food, cause im hungry. First i browsed 'fast food makes peoplke fat". trying to convinced myself not to get supper. and then i linked to videos like KFC and mcdonald food, am particularly attracted to KFC's famous bowl, its a mixture of mashed potatoes, corn, fried chicken popcorn, gravy, and cheese. all in one plate. everyone in utube says it taste fcking delicious! Looks like this.

and then i linked to some videos on fried food, kfc cruelty, endangered animals, clone dogs, some mtv, and back to fried food. You know how youtube can lead you out of the box. and guess what. i din know people like deep fried food so much that they would deep fried anything!

like oreo. deep fried and sprinkled with sugar. wtf! why would anyone wanna deep fried oreo?

and you know twinkies, which are famous in the angmoh places.

Another post on food! Another buffet at Four Points by Sheraton. Buffet in a hotel is almost like food on a plane. Give some extra flavors somehow. haha.

You'll be dining next to the pool, in house of course, where your seat is overlooking the pool.

Anyway, lets move on to the main point. the food!! The varieties are okay. Food is okay. some may think its common food, depends on how u see food! Im nt picky so many food taste about the same to me, except for unagi bento from japin which is simply orgasmic...

Btw, college starts tomorrow. Gotta be honest im nt excited bout it. U know when im having my long ass study break, many wished to go college and now when college is starting, we wished to have another looonnggg ass break. It always happen! So Ironic.

I just got back from ACCA exam. This 3 days is a painful process. haha..but still, being a good blogger, I blog straight after exam!! This is another food blog. *dont yawn* I know ive been blogging bout food a lot recently but it'll stop for awhile. I hope.

Today marks the third mensiversary of us!!

Baby, Im glad you stepped into my life, or rather, i stepped into yours. 3 months is not a long period but we've been through quite a lot together. We've learnt a lot from each other and tolerated much just to be together. I never knew committing to someone would be such a good experience until i have you. It feels like...a sense of belonging! hehe

From the first day i message u on fb, (after much effort in searching for ur profile), to our first date, second date, third date...spending whole night on the phone with you, and going straight to class the next morning, and still texting you in class. Those stressful days and those totally free days we spent together. It felt like they just happened yesterday!

And the best thing is we both know we are having a serious relationship, not those puppy or monkey love we may used to have. Some would say 3 months is way too early to say that but we'll let time prove us. and im sure we will! Happy 3rd Mensiversary baby! More mensiversaries to come!! and anniversaries!

Lets go straight to the food, as usual.

Everyone loves stuffed potatoes topped with cheese and baked to perfection. Perfect Appetizer!

I thought nachos are just chips with dipping sauce but this plate of nachos topped with minced beef, pickled chillies and sour cream looks more like a pizza! Taste incredibly nice! I rate this second after the stuffed potatoes. hehe

And of course when we say mexican, we think of tacos.

This one is called Fajita. Sizzling beef and onion. comes with pita bread for you to wrap in it. and 3 kind of sauce.

* There is a choice of beef/chicken for most dishes. Just that we ordered all in beef :D

Snowflake is a new food station in pavilion, serving taiwanese dessert or rather just "tong soi".

What is special about Snowflake, besides their dessert, is this UFO-like gadget. Every table of customer will get this mysterious gadget after you pay for your tong soi. and you camwhore with it.

No, its not for you to camwhore with. haha. It beeps. and when it beeps, it means your orders are ready to be served. Its pretty special. This way, hungry/desperate/thirsty customers do not have to turn their heads to the counter every 5 seconds to peep if their dessert are ready! Good idea.

A random post by random me. A little peek! Gonna type down whatever that comes to my mind. :)

First thing that pops in my mind..hmm. exams! ACCA uk papers in dec. Gotta make it through no matter what. Managed to get through the internal papers so hopefully it'll be the same for external papers!

Have been listening to Jack Johnson recently. Repeatedly. Like most of his songs, particularly one titled 'Badfish Boss'. Its playing in my iTunes now. Rated 4 stars and play count of 40, since I just downloaded it not long ago.

Am staying home recently. just study and facebook. Sis is coming next tues for 4 days. Great! keren is tagging along too. hehe

Get to know more friends are leaving for uk soon. When is my turn? Gotta pass next semester's papers before im entitled to go. Dont wanna burden family too if its too costly. Im okay with anything. Let's just see..

Wanted to get a pet with shiteng. Was seriously thinking about getting a blue parakeet not long ago, but then a bird would be...noisy and its a big responsibility. So ended up agreeing to get a fish. hehe. Went to pets wonderland and wanted to keep several clown fish but decided all the tanking and air pumps are too much of work so a beta fish will probably do. Heh. or maybe no pets. haha

Gym contract ends at end of Jan 2010. It has been one year. My health and body has definitely improved but not as ideal as it can be. Still fatty here and there. Gonna utilise the last 2 months effectively....after exam that is. Am grateful and guilty to have the gym to charge my credit card every month. Thanks dad! :D

Realize that my college gang could get separated next sem cause we have option papers now and not all chose the same. I personally have chosen Advanced Audit Assurance and Advanced Performance Management, instead of Advanced Financial Management and Advanced Tax. Tax has not been my strength and for Financial Management, Ive been planning to venture into investment co but after some pro consultancy ( Mr Tan) and after giving some thoughts, Im going for Performance Management. Hopefully there wont be any regrets!

My condo reminds me everyday of its problem. Lack of food! I should say, not much choice! Its either the chinese stall downstair, mamak or mcd. ahaha. have been eating those a lot. Luckily im not a fussy eater. Not complaning! :D

Went out the whole day and its a tiring day. Thought i could sleep like a baby once i got home but ended up the other way round. Many things in my mind and im wide awake. I dont even know if I shud type haha now. Ughh...

How to Cook?

Decided to cook with ST. I was craving for brinjal and we wanted to cook some simple food, so we decided to make Beefy Brinjal and Spaghetti. Hows that sound?

First. For the Brinjal. Get a decent brinjal, cut it and stir fry it. I use virgin olive oil :)

Put in some beef and stir fry it together and Wala!

U get this. haha.

I cooked this plate. I have to say im not too bad a cook for beginners like me. Its tasty!

Second part for the spaghetti.

We use cheese and herbs prego sauce. Boil the spaghetti.

Throw in some minced beef and squid.

And the end result is fab!

Spaghetti tasted great! St is indeed a good cook. yum yum. Thanks!

There's one thing about Disney that always make me go "PFFFTTTT" whenever i think about it. You know how Disney always produce fabulous cartoons and when they decide to do 'Part 2" of that cartoon, the "Part 2", is almost 90% guaranteed to be a love affair? You get what i mean?

Take for example the classic Bambi.

Great. cute deer, cute rabbit that looks like keren, cute skunk, not so cute owl.

even the rabbit/skunk and everyone else found love. wad the?

And the same thing happens to so many other movies, not only cartoon. It was very unreal. cz the producers probably couldnt come up with a juicier plot other than love. Come to think of it, i kinda agree

But guess what. Its kinda real. cz it happened to me. ha!

These guys used to hang tgr last semester. They do everything tgr, hang out, dinner and stuff. They even call themselves the 'single club' LOL

Ive always had this little messy patch of beard which grows back in 2 days every time i shaved it clean. So since I have no idea what to blog about, here it is! heh heh

This is my tool. Almost the same size as my berry.

Its like a twistable kind of phone. haha

As you have read, My blog is not a place for me to pour out my inner feelings/ problems/ insights/ whatever similar crap..cause i simply do not like the idea of opening up those stuff to whoever reads my blog. Although that is one of top reasons blogs are created for and that there are so many bloggers who blog just bout that. I respect that of course. and sometimes I feel like doing so too.

But guess what. Everytime i write such a blog entry, one that talks about how i feel about my current life, i ended up saving it as draft, and i never publish them. even until now. Im not sure if Im going to publish this one. But what the hell, if i really do. please just bear with me. Or u can always skip this entry. The last thing i want is to bore my readers who find such entry crappy. But for those who care, eg my dad. ( ya he reads my blog :] ). This could be a good way to understand me better.

If i were to sum up everything in my life right now. I would say, Im doing fine. In fact, Im doing great! :) . And i hope my family is doing well too. Despite growing up in a perfectly healthy family, I have been a quiet boy, almost mute in school. haha. I was fat and I hold back a lot of things to myself. I was never the cheerful little boy who is hyperactive, expressive, messes around with others, cause some problems in school, which are what boys do. At least i never see myself as that. As a matter of fact, as much as i hate to admit, i have very low self confidence and as u can imagine, life isnt that colorful. The best thing that i have always had is my family and i love them. Besides that, life is just about studies and tuitionss.. endless tuitions. haha! I have to be grateful of those days though, cause if it wasnt because of those tuitions, i doubt if i would be able to come this far. Not just academically, but every small little things along the way as well.

Growing up, I kept telling myself to improve, in every way. and im proud to say that, I have. Although there are still a lot of room for improvement, at least i wont grow up being static as the lil boy whom i used to be. At least ive changed for a better person, or rather someone whom i wanted to become. Not a hundred percent, but im trying to make it as close as possible. Ive become who i am today, not a geek, not a gangster, not someone who is lost of direction in their life, not depressed, not crazily out of mind. People around me now often tell me i have a lot of confidence, almost over-confident, which I dont really know where it came from too. Some may say it as a compliment and some may not mean the same, but anyhow Im happy with such comments cause i know im not that poor lil boy anymore. It felt like... a sense of achievement. and that ive outgrown those shit. :D

The process was not easy. And Ive had some wrong turns. I did my mistakes, I learnt from them. I get myself back to the right track, am still trying to stay on that track! I left home, cause i knew only by doing so, it is more possible for me to have more changes. good changes. It is something i have to do. Like i said earlier, I had my fair share of trials, be it good ones or bad ones. I grow from them. and that makes me who i am today. Having been through all those, ( dont get me wrong, im not trying to sound like ive been through a looot, but fairly enough. and at the very least, i dint feel not contented. ) if someone were to ask me what is the element in life that ive been focusing on, i would definitely says, its all about striking a balance.

So yeah, life is all about striking a balance, between everything, studies and play, friends and relationships, family, and later on in life, between work and family, money and ethics, health and food? maybe. My point is, balancing things up is important, and i've spent my whole life so far , trying to master the skill. Hope I'll do good. wish me luck.

So here I am today. A few more super tough ACCA papers, and im done with college. I'll be working then, have more responsibilities. Practically on my way to becoming a real adult. Its exciting at the same time confusing. Confused if I'll be able to handle all the things that are going to come slapping on my face. But like what I always tell myself when Im in such doubtful, confusing situations, God is always there for me. and my family will always be there for me. I have faith in God and I love my family who loves me too. Im all good and happy again after i tell myself that. Like a magical potion to an incurable illness, and so far, things turned out pretty well. :D

I do not know why I am writing this. and i hope there wont be any questions asked. This is me expressing myself . I hope i will publish this and not deleting it in 2 days. WHoosh! Whatever the future is, whatever happens, there wont be any fear in me, cause im ready to take it all. And there wont be any regrets. Many decisions have to be made. Minor ones, important ones. Its all a process, and guess what. Im going to do just fine. I AM!

Daidomon Review

There's another new japanese buffet in town! Its the Daidomon Jap BBQ Restaurant located at level 3 of Great Eastern Mall in Ampang Park. With so many others japanese buffet restaurants, Daidomon specialises in beef... at the same time serving the normal buffet dishes as well.

Daidomon is special in many ways. By special it could mean in a good way or another. The first thing is the space. Daidomon is RELATIVELY... small compared to other buffet restaurant. Still, it is big enough for people to walk around and get whatever food they want. So no complaints here!

The good special thing is that, unlike yaki yaki, where the barbeque ingredients are placed openly to all customers, In Daidomon, we have to order our ingredients from the menu, like this.

This way they can limit waste but in a way the ingredients sound more fresh too! Im not saying that its not fresh in yaki though. Just a mind perception. And greedy/ starved/ hungry people wont be able to scoop mountains of raw beef to their table and not being able to finish it at the end. Good strategy. :)

They serve all kinds of beef. Meat from different body parts of a cow to intestine.

Wagyu beef is one that is claimed to be very expensive and they only limit this to one plate per serving. Its incredibly delicious with just the right portion of meat and fat! Not forgetting with good BBQ skills of course, (ahem...). Wagyu beef is tender and juicy. Almost orgasmic! haha!

When Lucas Meets Kulala

Met up with kulala the other day after her pmr. PMR sounds so far apart from me. Neways, we went to genting. No casino this time as there is a minor following us. So theme park it is!

Everyone, meet kulala. I call her liu lien (means durian in mandarin). Dont ask why.

And she calls me Lun-ge ;]

Kulala is extravagantly cheerful. Literally laughs at every silly things she sees. haha!
We stayed overnight at genting but kulala was busy meeting her bunch of friends in KL...hmm.. she is one girl that knows how to have fun. :)

Its a new buffet restaurant in town! Located near lowyat, opposite federal hotel. Somewhat like Jogoya and Tenji, only its Japanese Barbeque Buffet. Worth a try!

I would say the food is acceptably fresh, varieties are less compared to other buffet restaurants like jogoya but is reasonable for the price. We got our own japanese style room and that adds to the fun!

Its congratulations for graduation! keke

Its yien's graduation! She has graduated way earlier and has been working for a while alr. Its just that the graduation ceremony is only held now. at Dewan Undangan Negeri. It was way better than my diploma graduation. This is one is grand enough, with nice catering and the overall flow of the ceremony is just better.

Graduation Ceremony in the morning and sis treat us all including our relatives at this restaurant. It almost felt like its a mini scale of wedding. with proper wedding ceremony in the morning and dinner at night. LOL!

Flowers from mum and dad, me and dennis plus from steve. My verdict is, roses smells nice but lilies dont. The lilies are in my sis room now and everytime i walk pass, trust me, the smell is...lets just say, not that pleasant. Mum thought it smells like used pads. So u get the idea. ;]

Tadaa.. the classic throw! Finally free from lectures tutorials and assignments. worth celebrating! And it seems like its nt only my sis from my family who is graduating..

My deep interest in dogs lets me know that there are generally two kinds of clips for poodles,

Jogoya, more than just a buffet.

Aug was promotion month for Jogoya, only RM45 per head during that whole month and kids, as usual, eat free!

So we went there for supper. I must say, that night was more than just quality buffet, although everyone seems to just focus on the food. Teehee.. esp kiki. and for some, chicks.. ahem..

Food is nice. Place is nice. Perfect company. Just that the unagi comes in such small portion, should have serve trays and trays of unagi there and let us all rebut like mad starved people. But overall, it was all thumbs up! :D

Im not a fan of coconut but the famous coconut juice there is really quite good! and the varieties of haagen daez ice cream. HAH! made me so hungry thinking of it now.

Had a midnight show 'Imagine That' after our heavy supper. I gotta say Eddie Murphy rocks but that night was still most perfect for 'The Orphan". Hehe!

Happy Independence Day! To Malaysia and all Malaysians!

Call me ignorant, but independence day only means another holiday to me. Still, its also the day malaysia is independent, so happy 52nd birthday to Msia!

I always find myself ending up in the BB celebration every year during national day.

But the things I do and the people I go with is also different every year. HAH! How amusing.

There are times when we join the spray frenzy, some other time when we just watch concert all night. Parties, and stuff.

Celebration at BB this year is a lot less. Less people less rempit, guessed the road is blocked or banned or something. But still, countdown and the fireworks are still there!

Just hangout at starbucks watching the kids playing spray. Geez, I've really turned 21. Adult. ahem ahem *clear throat*

Anyway, Happy Independence Day people, had a great one this year! :}
